After 3 years at college, Phil moved to the capital to pursue his dream of working in London. He started in West End restaurants and over 12 years gained a vast body of knowledge of different techniques and styles, often inspired by various senior chefs that he has worked with.

He was attracted to CH&Co by the ambition and growth of the company. He was also impressed by the company’s high standards, both in our aims and our delivery.

Coming to Lusso gave Phil his first role as Head Chef, allowing him to learn a huge amount and broaden his knowledge of running and managing the business. With such a large support network, there is always a senior chef to go to for advice or always a training program to available.

Lusso gives me an incredible amount of freedom to create, trial and run with my own menus in the style that fits with me and the brand. Having two young children it has given me a great work life balance that I never had working in the restaurant sector.”
